It had been a hot minute since I read about one of the Inferno brothers. It took me a quick second to remember who everyone was and what happened in the previous books. However, once my memory caught me back up, I was back in the game.
Damon and Amelie (Blue) were hot hot hot and Lily White brought the slow burn with this one. She kept us waiting and wanting more. Which I love me a good slow burn. It makes the actual scene where everything finally happens that much better, and she did not disappoint.
Damon’s story was dark, but I expected nothing less from his storyline. Blue’s storyline was not as dark but dark as well. Their two souls found each other despite that darkness, and they burned. It was nice as the reader to finally find out what happened with those weekends. I had an idea but liked that Lily finally confirmed our suspicions.
She whet my appetite for Taylor’s story next!
