Tempt Our Fate is a surprise for your eyes (or ears depending on if you are reading or listening to audio). I wasn’t expecting the heat and fire to burn the pages between Camden and Pippa. We do get a sneak peek of their heated exchange in the first book so I should have seen it coming but phew. 

Enemies to lovers is the main trope involved. The banter and push and pull between these characters is what made me turn the pages. The slow burn and sexual tension were palpable while reading.

Let’s talk about a dirty mouth. Camden Hunter has a mouth you wouldn’t want your mama to hear, but I certainly wasn’t complaining. Phew. The spice is through the roof in this one and I wasn’t expecting it from this small-town romance. 

I did struggle with going back and forth between the dirty talking and the sweet small-town thoughts. Camden was an alpha in bed, but then it would switch to this sweet (almost a little too sweet) version. It was hard to reconcile the differences at times, but cute and keeping with the small-town romance theme. 

Kate Singleton did it again with the Sutten series. I have fallen in love with the town, the characters, and Camden.
